Infographic: Goldman Sachs and the cost of the written word
Following former executive director Greg Smith’s incriminatory op-ed in the New York Times on Wednesday, it was revealed that Goldman Sachs witnessed a $2.15 billion loss in its market value.
This got our Blue & Green minds ticking: how can we show this in an interesting, yet snazzy, way?
Using products from a random selection of Goldman’s top holdings, including Apple, Microsoft and Pfizer, we worked out how many items each of the 16 paragraphs, 1,278 words, or 5,754 characters, would be able to purchase.
And this is what we came up with. It’s a bobby dazzler. (Click on the image to enlage).
