Now we are five: It was five years ago today
It was five years ago today that the first Blue & Green Tomorrow fluttered onto 5,000 doormats across the country. Since then we’ve had a white knuckle roller coaster ride, but we’re still here and more resilient than ever. 973,563 of you have read over 10,000 articles and I’d like to thank each and every one of you.
We feel doubly pleased as research last year showed that more than half of small businesses don’t survive beyond five years. As Kermit sang, it’s not easy being green. But it’s better than being not-green, for want of a better opposite.
In stats: Blue & Green has had one baby, four editors, 12 team members, 5,475 cups of coffee per head, 10,000 articles, 20,000 hairs lost by yours truly, 27,600 tweets, 973,563 readers 1.9m views, 3.9m minutes of attention held (7.4s year worth).
Here’s to the next five years!
So, without further ado… thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you… one, two, miss a few… 973,543 times later… thank you!
And finally, if you value you what we do – why not buy us a coffee.
