The American solar power sector received a huge boost last week, with National Solar Power (NSP) announcing that it had “reached a major milestone” in its plans to install “several million” – yes, million – solar panels in Florida.
And about time, too. The so-called ‘sunshine state’ is finally being put to good use, beyond a tropical holiday spot or an idyllic retirement destination.
The 700 megawatt NSP project spans three counties in the eastern state, and is being developed in conjunction with SolarWorld, the largest solar technology manufacturer in the Americas.
And don’t forget guys, sunny side up.
