The shortlist for the New Energy & Cleantech Awards, the foremost event recognising excellence in the green energy and clean technology industries.

The 2015 New Energy & Cleantech Awards, in their eighth year, recognises those who play a pivotal role in the shaping of the future green energy and cleantech industries, celebrating the companies, entrepreneurs, investors and specialist advisers instrumental in the sector today.

Some 68 shortlisted candidates across ten categories will compete for such gongs as Innovator of the Year, Retailer of the Year and Advisory Firm of the Year, to present a complete picture of the top achievers in the sector.

Ben Lobel, of the New Energy & Cleantech Awards, said, “The number of nominations we have received for the 2015 event has by far surpassed that of any previous year. The interest we have seen reflects a strong renewables sector that is burgeoning despite external factors such as the drop in crude oil prices that some feared would affect renewables’ ability to compete.”
