The charitable arm of EQ Investors (EQ), the EQ Foundation, has extended is relationship with the Panathlon Challenge. This extension marks the third consecutive year of the partnership.

The Foundation has supported Panathlon since EQ’s establishment in 2014 and has confirmed a donation this year as it continues to support the organisation. This year’s donation will help to pay for staff at Panathlon as it extends the number of sports competitions it runs across the country.

John Spiers, Chief Executive at EQ, said: “Panathlon inspires young disabled people to use competitive sport as a means of social and personal development. It’s great to see children taking part and enjoying the benefits that participating in sports brings.

“As part of our involvement we’ll be volunteering at sports events and helping raise funds for the Panathlon Challenge by participating in the London triathlon and Royal Parks half marathon.”

Ashley Iceton, CEO at the Panathlon Challenge, added: “Having EQ on side for another year is great news for our charity and we are delighted that so many of their team will be joining us in the challenges.
