Call for articles on sustainability topics
As we take a break over the summer from publishing our guides, we’re looking for contributions from readers on a variety of different topics relating to sustainability.
Whether anonymously, under a pseudonym or with your name published loud and clear, we want your words.
Journalism is no longer the preserve of press barons and elite groups. It is now democratic and everyone has a voice. And though that means there’s a lot of noise and rubbish out there, there’s a lot of great stuff, too.
We want to report on the diverse voices of our audience and beyond—regular people writing as travellers, investors and consumers.
So, if you blog, tweet or write about sustainability we want to hear from you. You don’t need to be an experienced or aspiring writer or worry about article length, spelling or grammar—we’ll tidy that up for you.
Therefore, we’re issuing a call for articles on any of the following areas – all of which are titles of guides that we’re publishing in the final four months of 2013. If it’s a subject likely to resonate with our readers or challenge them in some way, you’ll fly to the top of our list.
– Sustainable homes
– Sustainable banking
– Sustainable investment
– Sustainable retail/shopping
– Sustainable transport
Think you’ve got an idea for a guide? Let us know.
Send your article proposals, including a short synopsis and a brief biography of yourself, to: submissions@blueandgreentomorrow.com.
Authors of accepted articles can then submit an article or paper (no more than 1,500 words) for publication in one of our autumn guides. This isn’t a paid opportunity, but we can provide you with a growing platform to air your views, which could turn into a regular partnership.
The submission system will close on 9 September 2013. More details and writing guidelines will be sent to successful submitters.
