Solar Energy UK will address the UK government’s proposed harmful cuts to solar head on in October with sessions designed around the future of individual companies and the jobs they sustain. Over 5,000 international attendees are expected on 13-15 October to find out how to increase the value of their companies, continue to win solar business and incorporate new technology into offerings to reduce the payback time of a new installation.

With almost 10GW of PV installed across the UK, there is a wealth of opportunity for international investors to add British solar to their portfolios and benefit from secure fixed income. Attendees at the event also include a large number of companies offering operations and maintenance and asset management services now that built assets start to come off warranty.

Solar Energy UK is also the UK’s largest international solar exhibition, so although the British government has applied the brakes to the industry, the exhibition will also bring a host of international experts to attendees’ doorsteps. The four cutting-edge conferences are free to attend and allow delegates to explore storage, rooftop PV, Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and the Middle East, India, Ireland, Europe – and of course the UK. Attendees will also hear from land owners, rooftop owners, DNOs, electric vehicle companies and energy buyers decarbonising their own operations.

Attendance in 2015 is expected to be record breaking, with 200-plus exhibitors, 80 speakers and over 5,000 visitors from over 75 countries.
