#GE2015: 10 Marginal Constituencies and Vote for Policies

Yesterday we looked at the East Midlands marginal of Lincoln. Today we look at ten most marginal constituencies that cover the main party battlefields. We look at the 2010 result and the Vote for Policies state of the parties.

Today we look at the 2010 General Election result of ten marginal constituencies and compare it with the local, self-selecting sample, of Vote for Policies survey completers. The most marginal constituency in the UK is Hampstead and Kilburn with Labour defending a three-way Marginal with a majority of just 42.

Next is Warwickshire North with Conservatives defending an ultra-marginal majority of just 54.

Next is Camborne and Redruth with Conservatives defending an ultra-marginal majority of just 66.

Next is Oldham East and Saddleworth with Labour defending a three-way marginal with a majority of just 103.

Next is Solihull with Lib Dems defending an ultra-marginal majority of just 175.

Next is Norwich South with Lib Dems defending a three marginal with a majority of just 310.

Next is Brighton Pavilion with Greens defending a three marginal with a majority of 1,252.

Next is Arfon defending with Plaid Cymru a majority of 1,455.

Dundee East with the SNP defending a majority of 1,821.

Next is Rochester & Strood with UKIP defending the formerly safe Conservative seat with a majority of 2,920, last held in 2010 by the Conservatives with a majority of 9,953.
