Greenpeace Fracks Westminster
Environmental campaign group Greenpeace has built a 10-metre high drill rig in Parliament Square. The campaign is to highlight the government’s determination to push through hydraulic fracturing (fracking) over local opposition. Lancashire is at the centre of the current campaign as the local authority has said no to drilling but the government intends to press ahead.
