Call for articles for B&GT’s Guide to ‘Democracy’

In April, Blue & Green Tomorrow launches its Guide to Sustainable Democracy. The 750th anniversary of De Montfort’s Parliament, the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, an unpredictable UK General Election, following a referendum on Scottish independence, and the prospect of a referendum on the European Union, has put liberty and democracy firmly centre stage in 2015.

We are looking for entertaining and interesting articles (of between 750 to 1,250 words) on democracy – that address the questions, ‘How do we make our democracy more sustainable?’, and/or ‘How do we make sustainability more democratic?’.

You can read our 2014 Guide to Sustainable Democracy here.

The best papers will be published online by Blue & Green Tomorrow in our guide in April, and as a standalone article online on blueandgreentomorrow.com. Other commended submissions will be published online during April and May. Please send your article abstract or full submission to democracy15@bluendgreentomorrow.com and we will be in touch to discuss options for publication.

Any submission should only contain original unpublished work and not be submitted for publication elsewhere prior to the end of April 2015. The author’s (and any co-author’s) name, qualification, position, institution/organisation, address, e-mail address and any paid or unpaid connections with organisations mentioned in the article should be included with the submission.
