Beach Bay Cottage is nestled on the edge of the unspoilt white sands of Uig Bay, a National Scenic area and one of the most beautiful beaches on Scotland’s Atlantic coast.
The property is a stunning natural stone and turf roofed single-storey detached cottage built into the hillside reflecting an ancient Neolithic design with breathtaking views through a 180-degree bay window. A friendly family beach is less than 110 yards from the front door.
The location offers many outdoor activities including hill walking, surfing, kite surfing, fishing, golf, wildlife watching, boat trips, sea kayaking and cycling. The landscape and history of the Outer Hebrides, together with the hospitality of its people, provides a wonderful escape for either an active or relaxing holiday.
There is a restaurant and whisky distillery within 550 yards and the local community shop is only three miles away.
Features: The living/dining room has a 180-degree bay window looking directly at the beach, multi-fuel stove and patio doors that lead out to a stone patio. The open plan kitchen is well equipped. The double bedroom has a TV and en-suite shower room. Whilst the twin bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, separate shower cubicle and toilet. The property also boosts a two-person sauna.
