It lies close to the Jurassic coast, Chesil beach, Abbotsbury’s swannery and sub-tropical gardens, and Maiden Castle. Dorchester is three miles away, Bridport is 12 miles and London is two-and-a-half hours by car (less than 3 hours by train). There’s a farm shop in the village, and a pub 750 yards away.
