UKSIF and Thomson Reuters conduct biggest European SRI assessment to date

The UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF) and Thomson Reuters have published the results from their tenth annual Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) & Sustainability Survey.

Over 500 members of the investment community were surveyed for the poll, which details a “growing uptake” of the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).

Organisations were ranked in a number of categories, with the SRI & Sustainability Survey distributing awards to the best firms in each.

In the 14 awards, brokerage firm CA Cheuvreux appeared most, appearing in the top three eight times. Bank of America Securities – Merrill Lynch finished on the podium seven times, whilst global financial services company UBS received five top threes.

These tenth annual SRI & sustainability survey awards mark a key milestone in the development of pan-European sustainability analysis”, said Penny Shepherd, chief executive, UKSIF.

Over the last decade this has become an established investment research offering and these awards have played a key role in recognising and rewarding leading practice by sell-side brokers, buy-side analysts and corporate investor relations.

This year’s awards demonstrate the continued appetite for this research product.”
