Blue & Green’s top 10 electric cars: #6 Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive
Blue & Green Tomorrow has compiled a varied list, in both price and performance, of the top 10 commercially available electric cars.
The converted family friendly Mercedes B-class is a fantastic electric car option. Converted primarily so drivers could simply enjoy the incentives that come with purchasing an electric car, the Mercedes retains its high level of quality and performance.
Although the looks are certainly lacking in comparison to other Mercedes models, this model was designed for practicality and comfort. It has five seats and a five door arrangement with plenty of boot space for everyday living and weekend needs.
At 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds, the heavier model will obviously lag behind lighter, less equipped models, but it makes up for this in space and durability with a surprising amount of handling available to the driver.
Currently Priced at: £30,000
