Good Money Week 2016 – Make Your Money Count, Edinburgh
During Good Money Week 2016 Rathbone Greenbank Investments is very happy to be co-hosting the event, Make Your Money Count, with Triodos Bank, Shared Interest, Ethical Futures and the Church of Scotland.
Good Money Week is a yearly campaign to help investors make positive choices with their money by raising their awareness of responsible, sustainable and ethical finance.
Make Your Money Count will be held at St Andrew’s and St George’s West Church, 13 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2PA from 10:00-14:00.
The speakers will explore key issues around how we invest our money and give practical suggestions on how to make it count.
The demand for ethical investment is considerable: investors have a choice and can make a positive impact with their money. Recent research carried out by Rathbones confirms that significant numbers of people are choosing to put their money to use for the good of society and the environment, and are keen to promote a more sustainable future.
John David, head of Rathbone Greenbank Investments, said:
“Good Money Week is an excellent platform for raising awareness of ethical and sustainable investment. The world faces many challenges, ranging from climate change, human rights, modern slavery and the provision of good quality education. As investors we can be part of the problem or part of the solution. At Rathbone Greenbank Investments we seek to invest our clients’ capital for a more sustainable future. We think that doing so is both the responsible approach and one that will reap long-term economic benefits for all stakeholders.”
