Blue & Green holiday cottages: Isaac’s Byre, Garrigill

Isaac’s Byre is ideally situated for enjoying Cumbria and North Pennines and is available to book now through cottages4you.

This delightful barn conversion, adjoining the owner’s home, retains the former Byre’s character and enjoys picturesque view of the scenery of the North Pennines, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The property has also been awarded the green tourism business scheme gold award.

There are outstanding walks and scenery from the doorstep and the location is peaceful and perfectly placed for exploring the quaint town of Alston. There are also numerous cycle routes from the barn and swimming, golf, horse riding and fishing can all be found locally.

Visitors take a trip to Hadrian’s Wall, the Lake District and Northumbrian National Parks, as well as the cities of Carlisle, Durham and Newcastle. A local shop and pub are located within just 1 mile.

Features: The ground floor features an open plan living, dining and kitchen area and family bathroom. One of the double bedrooms can also be found on the ground floor. The remaining double bedroom, twin room and shower room are located on the first floor.
