Enjoying a spectacular, secluded and sunny position with panoramic views over magical Rudyard Lake, this exceptional and very spacious property sits within steeply sloping woodland grounds with gravel paths and steps stretching down to the lakeshore. Here visitors can enjoy free fishing or moor a boat.
This spacious and comfortable house makes the most of the location and there is walking from the house extending around the lake, which is stocked with fish. From here guests can easily access the tourist attractions in Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire. At Rudyard, close to where the cottage is located, there is a visitors centre, café, boat launching facility, rowing boat hire and a miniature train that runs along the opposite shore.
Leek, which is three miles away, has good shopping, swimming pool and leisure centre and two golf courses. Stoke-on-Trent has Waterworld, Gladstone Pottery Museum, Emma Bridgewater factory shop and pottery painting, as well as a cinema complex, indoor skiing, bowling, and Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest. Alton Towers and Splash Landings, cycle hire on the Manifold Trail and the National Trust’s Biddolph Grange and Little Moreton Hall are within 15 miles.
