This wonderful centuries-old barn has been carefully converted to create two character eco-friendly holiday cottages with their own patios, giving stunning views over open farm and hills.

Situated on the edge of Kendal, in Cumbria, a historic market town famous for its mint cake, the cottages offer a perfect location to tour the Lake District, being just nine miles from Windermere, and the Yorkshire Dales, with Sedberge also just nine miles away. Water sports or cruises on the lakes, mountain climbing in the Langsdales and coastal walks on the Cumbrian coast are just some of the activities guests can enjoy.

There is also a plethora of historic houses and gardens in the area, including Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and Cartmel 12th-century priory.

Features: On the ground floor is a large well-equipped kitchen/dining room with a door leading onto a patio area and separate toilet. On the first floor is a living room and two double bedrooms, both of which have en-suites.
