PRI in Person: Where the global responsible investment community meets
London is currently playing host to PRI in Person 2015, bringing together over 800 decision makers from more than 25 countries and giving them the tools to embed the Principles for Responsible Investment into business practices.
The United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Initiative is an international network of investors working together to put the six voluntary Principles for Responsible Investment into practice. Its goal is to understand the implications of sustainability for investors and support signatories to incorporate these issues into their investment decision making and ownership practices. In implementing the Principles, signatories contribute to the development of a more sustainable global financial system.
The week of events, centres around a conference on 8-10 September, and includes strategy-level keynotes and plenaries, practical breakouts and interactive roundtables. Content serves those who need to dig deeper into existing responsible investment practice, and those just starting to explore the benefits of responsible investment. The PRI Academic Workshop follows on 11 September. A gala dinner at the historic Guildhall in London closes the event.
This event aims to equip every RI professional with the tools to embed the principles into business practices.
