Scottish independence: take our poll

With the Scottish independence referendum set to take place in just a week’s time, we’re asking our readers what they think in our latest website poll.

A day after launching, the results suggest our readership is split evenly on whether Scotland should remain part of the union or become an independent country. On September 18 Scots will take to the polls and be asked to give ?given a simple yes or no answer to the question of whether they want Scotland to break away from the UK.

The debate between the unionists and nationalists has been heating up as the day draws nearer. Polls have suggested that the ‘Yes’ campaign is slightly ahead, although the voters that remain undecided could tip the scales.
