Imagining our future with the Crowdcube investment
In just four days we had £12,310 invested. We’re looking to raise £260,000. We’ve written about what we will do with the investment and what we can achieve. But we’re aiming for the stars.
Imagine a Financial Times that focuses solely on sustainable markets, investments and companies. That also writes about How to Spend It, but how to spend it sustainably. Imagine an Economist that focuses on the balance between sustainable economics, sustainable ecology and a sustainable society. Imagine an Investors Chronicle that focuses on the positive impact that investment can have, not just the return it can make regardless of the human and environmental cost.
Imagine a Vogue that focuses solely on sustainable fashion. Imagine a Condé Nast Traveller that focuses solely on responsible travel. Imagine a Retail Week that focuses solely on ethical retailers. Imagine a Utility Week that focuses solely on renewable energy at home and at work.
Imagine a SAGA for sustainability. Where millions of readers buy and invest sustainable goods and services through Blue & Green from carefully screened companies.
Imagine an amplifier that goes up to 11 for sustainable projects on Crowdfunder, Crowdcube, Kickstarter, Trillion Fund, Ethex and for sustainable and socially responsible investment more generally.
Imagine that disruptive but positive amplifier in the UK, across Europe, in the Americas, in Africa and the Middle East, in Asia and around the Pacific.
Imagine an online magazine that promotes the work of every individual and organisation working towards a more sustainable future – even the other excellent magazines that operate in the space. A magazine that provides an affordable marketing platform for those individuals and organisations, and an accessible platform for readers, however green or not, without the deterrent of paywalls.
Imagine that and know that is our ambition, and invest.
