Kicking off the month, our very own Ben Willers created a handy infographic that showed solar power generation across several countries in a way that was easy to understand, and Alex Blackburne deconstructed what it actually meant.

Charlotte Reid had the pleasure of talking to Annie Leonard, creator of The Story of Stuff, a project aimed at educating people about how to reduce the impact they have on our blue and green planet, for an interview that we ran across two days. Part one is here and part two is here.

Ed Gill, head of external affairs at 100% renewable electricity supplier, Good Energy, explained why the UK should do its utmost to capitalise on its natural resources, in Good Energy’s monthly contribution to B&GT.

Charlotte spoke with Diana Caldwell from Every Can Counts, a programme to help people recycle drinks cans when they are away from home, to find out more about the initiative.

And finally, bringing things up-to-date, Alex wrote about the Pacific nations that are admirably fighting a losing battle with climate change.
