Yesterday there was news that the Munduruku Indigenous Peoples and Greenpeace Brazil joined forces to save the Tapajos River from a wave of mega dams, research suggested the destructive downpours seen in areas of France at the end of May were caused by man-made climate change and campaigners said the decision by North Yorkshire County Council to allow fracking near Ryedale could be unlawful.
