Ethical retailer of the week: Wills
Wills is a UK company selling “animal and human friendly” footwear, with a unique eye for style, materials and ethics that is evident in all their products.
Blue & Green Tomorrow is currently running a crowdfunder to ensure its survival. Please pledge.
Wills was born from an idea of founder Will Green of “bridging the gap between everyday people and ethically produced vegan shoes”, made with European components and manufactured in Portugal. The company now has stockists in the UK, Europe, US, Canada and Australia.
Perfectly resembling real leather shoes, Wills’ footwear is made of water-resistant and breathable faux leather microfiber, made and sourced within the EU, making the products “animal and human friendly” – as they do not contain animal products. But above all, Wills’ shoes are elegant, fashionable, fine and are sold at high street prices.
In his own words, Green said, “Wills is about getting the latest fashions out there at fair prices, while not hurting animals or people in the process.
“My contemporary designs echo the high street trends, packed into four seasons giving you a year round alternative. I believe buying something well made saves money, provides something to cherish and is better for our environment. Best of all my shoes match the high street prices dropping the barriers to living an ethical life.”
