Good Money Week: Money for Positive Change (03 Oct)
This event has been organised by the Church of Scotland’s Society, Religion and Technology Project. The event hopes to provide you with an opportunity to consider how your faith, values and finances interact and how you, and your Church, can make positive decisions about how your money is used in the future.
Sponsored by EthicalFutures and Triodos Bank, the conference will be chaired by Rev Sally Foster Fulton, Convener of the Church and Society Council of the Church of Scotland, and features an address from Tessa Tennant, Green Investment Pioneer.
Delegates are encouraged to participate in the workshops sessions and the Q&A panel discussion.
Workshops topics:
– Financial capability skills for young people, Iona Bain
– The Good Money App, John Preston
– Ethical Money Churches, Sabrina Groschel
– Divestment, Adrian Shaw
– Community Shares Scotland, Kelly McIntyre
The event is free and open to the public. Delegates are also invited to stay for a complimentary buffet lunch.
