Investors In People Accreditation Given To ORE Catapult
The Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult has received international recognition and has been awarded the Investors in People accreditation – the defining standard for people management.
The standard provides straightforward, proven frameworks for delivering business improvement through people and the Catapult is now accredited through to 2019 after demonstrating commitment to its staff across a range of key indicators.
“Our people are the most important part of our business. It is vital that we invest in everyone’s continuing development, and that colleagues feel they have a voice which the organisation listens and reacts to,” said Andrew Jamieson, ORE Catapult Chief Executive.
“To be celebrating accreditation only a year and a half after the merger of ORE Catapult with Narec is a fantastic achievement and underlines our ongoing commitment to people development, engagement and communication and to providing an excellent service for our customers.”
Peter Russian, Chief Executive of Investors in People Scotland, said: “ORE Catapult is an organisation which is built on the knowledge and capability of its people. Achieving Investors in People accreditation is a very clear sign that by putting their people at the heart of their strategy they are also demonstrating their commitment to their customers and stakeholders who value the service that ORE Catapult provides.”
