Sustainable September all-day conference to be held at Central Hall Westminster
Blue & Green Tomorrow’s Sustainable September all-day sustainability event – which will bring together leading experts on various aspects of sustainability – will be held at Central Hall Westminster in London, on September 30.
Central Hall Westminster is committed to promoting sustainability through a series of measures to save energy and water, reduce waste and encourage visitors and clients to organise environmentally friendly events that focus on good practice.
Central Hall – which has a strong corporate social responsibility policy – is an also a social enterprise, directing its profits to local charities and other philanthropic initiatives.
Blue & Green Tomorrow’s event is the closing chapter of Sustainable September, the month-long celebration of sustainability.
The conference will host, among others, author of End of the Line Charles Clover, founder partner of WHEB and philanthropist Ben Goldsmith, Carbon Tracker’s CEO Anthony Hobley, Chief Adviser on Climate Change at WWF Leo Hickman, Sustainability Adviser at PwC Will Day, founder director of the International Centre for Responsible Tourism Professor Harold Goodwin and Troy Wiseman, EcoPlanet Bamboo Group chairman, as well as many more.
The all-day conference will be the closing event of Sustainable September, which will feature a series of debates about investment, energy, tourism and retail, where leading thinkers will challenge themselves on opposite views.
