A sparkling stream runs through its enclosed south facing garden. Set on a hill top just two miles away are the distinctive mellow Cotswold stone buildings of Stow-on-the-Wold, a charming and historic little market town with a good selection of shops, inns and eating places.
The stunningly beautiful Cotswold landscape, dotted with historic houses and picturesque villages, is a delight to explore; Moreton-in-Marsh, Burford and Chipping Norton are a short drive, whilst Broadway’s famous antique shops, museums and theatres in Shakespeare’s birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cheltenham races and Oxford’s dreaming spires are all under 25 miles. There is lovely walking locally and tennis, golf and riding can be enjoyed nearby.
