New Energy & Cleantech Awards deadline approaching
There are just two days left to submit nominations for the New Energy & Cleantech Awards, which recognise those who play a pivotal role in shaping the future of green energy and cleantech industries.
The awards are now in their eighth year and will be held on April 29 at Park Plaza, Victoria London. Categories range from Innovator of the Year and Developer of the Year to New Energy Champion of the Year and University Spin-out of the Year. There are also categories for deals, investors and retailers.
Last year’s winners included Greencoat UK Wind, a £350 million renewable energy infrastructure fund, Loowatt, whose waterless toilet system is supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Environmental Technologies Fund, which was chosen by the judging panel after raising £60 million for its second fund.
The 2014 awards also saw the very first Clean Invest Forum, which saw companies looking for growth finance present to an investor audience, with individual presentations being followed by a question and answer session.
