Venture capital is financial capital provided to early-stage firms, such companies are usually high potential high-risk. Investors perceive long-term growth for their investment with an exit strategy.

Most venture capital comes from a group of investors, investment banks or financial institutions that pool investments. Venture capitalists will usually get significant control of company decisions.
