The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) published the results of its latest public attitudes tracking survey on Tuesday – showing that eight out of 10 people are in support of renewable energy.
These encouraging figures followed the news that Gen Community had installed its first solar panels on fuel-poor houses in Newport, South Wales, as part of its renewable energy co-operative.
