At the beginning of this week, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) revealed that Sir Adrian Montague would be stepping down from his role as deputy chair of the Green Investment Bank, while a day later, we reported on the launch of a guide that aims to provide impact investors with best-practice information into the sector.

We were also presented with the news that Conservative MP Tim Yeo and Labour’s Barry Gardiner had put forward an amendment to the energy bill that if implemented would see a 2030 decarbonisation target set by April 1.
