2016 Global Cleantech 100 Ones to Watch List Announced
The Cleantech Group announced that they are excited to be launching the 3rd edition of the Global Cleantech 100 Ones to Watch list, highlighting a group of up-and-coming companies that are catching the eye of leading investors and corporates in the market.
The Ones to Watch companies made the top 250 in this year’s Global Cleantech 100 program and carry pockets of strong support among the GCT100’s expert panel, albeit they did not have quite enough market support to make the 8th edition of the Global Cleantech 100 list itself (soon to be published on January 23, 2017). As such, these companies represent this year’s Ones to Watch.
This year, a record number of nominations for the annual Global Cleantech 100 program were received: 9,900 distinct companies from 77 countries. The companies were weighted and scored to create a short list of 325 companies, with these nominees reviewed by the GCT100’s Expert Panel. The Ones to Watch, the sister list to the annual Global Cleantech 100 list, is created from the top 250 of the shortlist. To qualify for either list, companies must be independent, for-profit, cleantech companies that are not listed on any major stock exchange.

They will be holding a Ones to Watch session during Cleantech Forum San Francisco (January 23-25, 2017) to highlight a selection of companies from the list and other up-and-coming companies.
Join them to meet the Ones to Watch and other exciting innovation companies, and be there for the live unveiling of the Global Cleantech 100 list.
