TED talks: healthier men, one moustache at a time – Adam Garone
You may have already seen (and grimaced/laughed at) Blue & Green Tomorrow’s Movember efforts. As men worldwide prepare to part with their prized moustaches, Adam Garone – co-founder of the campaign – tells us more in this week’s featured TED talk.
Sporting impressive facial fungus, Garone explains how an attempt to bring the moustache back into fashion turned into one of the world’s largest charitable events. Millions of pounds are raised by hundreds of thousands of men each year for men’s health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer and mental health rehabilitation.
